Custom Vinyl Decals — Printed, Laminated, Cut to Shape, Made in Toronto

A decal is a sticker that has a job. It goes on a shop window, a truck door, a toolbox, an equipment case or a product, and it has to stay put and stay readable. We print custom vinyl decals at our shop in North York, Toronto on white vinyl, seal them under a scratch-resistant laminate, and cut them to your artwork's outline. Each one is a single printed piece: peel it off the backing and press it on. No transfer tape, no weeding, no lettering to line up.

What you're getting

Waterproof vinyl with a gloss or matte laminate over the print. The ink sits under the laminate, not on top, so the decal doesn't scuff or fade the way an unlaminated print does. They're rated for 3–5 years outdoors in all weather, and they're dishwasher safe. Gloss makes colours brighter and suits logos; matte has no glare, which matters on a window or a vehicle in daylight. Same material and same laminate as our die cut stickers and vinyl stickers — the word changes with the job, the vinyl doesn't.

Decal or sticker?

People say "sticker" for something small that goes on a laptop or a water bottle, and "decal" for a graphic that goes on a surface that belongs to the business: glass, a vehicle, a machine. On this page they are the same printed, laminated vinyl, cut to shape. What we don't make on this page is cut-vinyl lettering — individual letters with no background, applied with transfer tape. Sizes, shapes and price

Presets at 2" × 2", 3" × 3" and 4" × 4", or enter your own size — larger decals are no problem, type in the dimensions you need. Cut to the artwork's outline (a die cut), rounded corners, oval/round, or rectangle/square. Price follows size and quantity and drops fast with volume. Four designs, one order

Upload up to 4 artwork files in a single order and split the quantity between them any way you like. Mixed sizes are fine; the order is priced at the largest size in the batch. A shop that needs a door decal, a window decal and two sizes of logo gets one order at one price tier instead of four.

Where they go, and how to put them on

Anywhere. Windows, vehicles, toolboxes, equipment cases, bins, packaging, laptops, water bottles, walls. They shrug off rain, snow, sun and the dishwasher. For the cleanest result, wipe the surface, let it dry, peel the decal from one edge and press it on from that edge outward with your thumb or a card so you don't trap air. On a window, put the decal on the outside of the glass so it reads from the street.

The artwork mistake we see most

Text too small for the distance. A decal on a truck door is read from across a parking lot, not from a desk, so a phone number set at the size that looks fine on a laptop sticker disappears at ten feet. Keep body text at 7 pt or larger on small decals and go much bigger on anything meant to be read from a distance. If the proof looks crowded, tell us and we'll resize it at no charge.

Technology companies branding gear and giving decals away at launches. Schools and campuses — clubs, teams, orientation, recruiting. Event organizers who need a graphic that survives a weekend outdoors. Contractors marking vans and toolboxes, shops marking doors and windows, brands sealing packaging. Ordering

Upload a PNG, PDF, AI, EPS, SVG or PSD — vector files are best for logos and text; a 300 DPI PNG with a transparent background works for most people. Pick a size, quantity, cut and finish, and check out. You get a digital proof, usually within 24 hours, showing the exact cut line; if something's off, we revise it at no charge. Approve it and production takes 1–3 business days, then the decals ship or are ready for pickup.

Questions we get

Are vinyl decals waterproof? Yes. The vinyl doesn't absorb water and the laminate protects the print, so they hold up in rain, snow and car washes, and they're rated for 3–5 years outdoors.

Can I put them on a car or truck? Yes, on a clean, smooth panel or window. For a decal built around vehicle use, see car stickers.

Inside or outside of the window? Outside, so the print faces the street. If you want something that sits inside the glass, ask us before ordering.

How long do they last outside? 3–5 years in all weather — rain, snow, sun and car washes.

Are they dishwasher safe? Yes.

Do they come off? Yes. Peel from a corner.

What's the difference between a decal and a die cut sticker? None in the material. Decal is the word people use when the sticker is going on a window, a vehicle or equipment.
