Custom Laptop Stickers — Waterproof Vinyl, Cut to Shape, Printed in Toronto
A laptop lid is the most-looked-at surface most people own. It sits open in cafés, lecture halls, meeting rooms and airport gates, and whatever is stuck to it gets seen by everyone across the table. That's why companies hand stickers out at trade shows, and why students cover their lids with them. We print custom laptop stickers on white vinyl at our shop in North York, Toronto, seal them with a scratch-resistant laminate, and cut them to your artwork's outline. Same vinyl, same laminate and same cut as our die cut stickers — this page just answers the laptop questions.
What you're getting
Waterproof vinyl with a gloss or matte laminate over the print. The ink sits under the laminate, not on top, so the artwork doesn't scuff when the laptop goes in and out of a bag every day. Heat isn't a problem either: the lid, behind the screen, is where these get applied, and the warmth that comes through it doesn't affect the vinyl or the print. Wipe the lid, close it on the sticker, slide it into a sleeve. None of that bothers them.
Both finishes work on a laptop, and laptop buyers order both. Matte has no glare under office lights and looks like part of the lid. Gloss makes a logo pop.

What size fits a laptop
3" × 3" is the size laptop buyers order most, and it's the right call for a single logo or character: big enough to read across a table, small enough to leave the lid some room. 2" × 2" suits a set of designs people collect and arrange. 4" × 4" is a statement piece. Presets at those three sizes, or enter your own. Cut to the artwork's outline (a die cut), rounded corners, oval/round, or rectangle/square.
Price
Price follows size and quantity, and the cost per sticker drops fast with volume. Live prices as of September 30, 2026, before tax:

Four designs, one order
Upload up to 4 artwork files in a single order and split the total any way you like — 100 of the company logo and 50 each of three product marks, say. Mixed sizes are fine; the order is priced at the largest size in the batch. For a trade-show booth or a new-hire kit, that's one order at the 250 price instead of four small ones.
Taking them off
They peel off cleanly. If one has been on a lid for a long time you may find a faint line of dust where the edge sat — that's the adhesive at the rim — and a wipe takes it off.
The artwork mistake we see most
Ordering too small for the amount of detail. A 2" sticker carrying a full illustration, a tagline and a website address ends up as a smudge on the lid: the detail is in the file, but nobody can read it at that size. Two fixes. Go up to 3" or 4", or simplify to one focal element and keep any text at 7 pt or larger with a small margin inside the edge. If the proof looks crowded, tell us and we'll resize it at no charge.
Who orders them
Everybody, honestly, but three groups keep coming back. Trade-show exhibitors, because a sticker on a visitor's laptop keeps working long after the booth is packed up. College campuses — clubs, orientation weeks, campus recruiting — where a lid full of stickers is normal. And technology employers, who put them in new-hire kits and print them for internal teams and product launches. Plenty of people just order a few of their own designs.
Ordering
Upload a PNG, PDF, AI, EPS, SVG or PSD — a 300 DPI PNG with a transparent background works for most people, and vector files are best for logos. Pick a size, quantity, cut and finish, and check out. You get a digital proof, usually within 24 hours, showing the exact cut line; if something's off, we revise it at no charge. Approve it and production takes 1–3 business days, then the stickers ship or are ready for pickup.
Questions we get
Will the heat from my laptop damage the sticker? No. They go on the lid, behind the screen, and the warmth that comes through doesn't affect the vinyl or the print.
Do laptop stickers come off cleanly? Yes. Peel from one corner. After a long time on the lid you might see a faint line of dust at the edge; it wipes off.
Will they scratch in a backpack? The print sits under a scratch-resistant laminate, so the daily in-and-out of a bag doesn't wear it.
Gloss or matte for a laptop? Both are popular here. Matte for no glare under office lights, gloss for brighter colours. Same vinyl, same price.
What size should I order? 3" × 3" is what most laptop buyers choose. 2" for a set, 4" for a single big piece.
Are these different from your die cut stickers? Same vinyl, same laminate, same cut. This page exists because laptop buyers have laptop questions. You can order from either page; for the full range of finishes, see vinyl stickers.
Is there a minimum order? No. Choose Custom Quantity and enter the number you need.
Do you ship to the United States? Yes — free shipping on orders over $100. Any US tariffs are charged on delivery and are the buyer's responsibility.
