Clear stickers print your design directly onto transparent vinyl, so only the artwork shows — no white background, no visible sticker edge, just your design sitting on whatever you stick it to.

Why these are printed differently

Clear stickers are the one product in our lineup we print with UV ink and no laminate on top. A laminate layer would leave a faint frosted edge around the whole sticker, which defeats the point of going clear in the first place. UV ink cures directly onto the vinyl instead, giving you sharp colour and a truly invisible background — just keep in mind any fine text or thin linework won't have the extra durability a laminate normally adds.

White ink printing available

Standard printing has no white ink — on paper it isn't needed, because the paper is already white. On clear vinyl it matters a great deal: anything you designed as white comes out transparent, and pale colours turn washed out against whatever sits behind them.

We print white ink, and it does two different jobs:

• White as a design element — white text, outlines or a white logo print as genuinely opaque white on a clear background. This is what makes storefront window graphics read cleanly against a dark interior.
• White as an underlay — a white layer printed beneath your colours so they sit on white instead of on the surface behind them. Your brand colours come out exactly as designed on kraft packaging, dark glass or a busy label, while the area around the artwork stays completely clear.

Where they work best

Window decals, car and laptop stickers where you want a printed-on look rather than a sticker-shaped block of colour, product packaging where the container itself should show through, and branding on glass or clear plastic. If your design has a busy or colourful background you want to keep, a regular die cut or kiss cut sticker with laminate is usually the better fit.
