Custom Bumper Stickers — Waterproof Laminated Vinyl, Any Size and Shape, Printed in Toronto

Nobody orders the standard bumper sticker any more. The 11.5" × 3" rectangle with a slogan on it has been replaced by whatever gets noticed at a red light: a logo cut to its own outline, an 8" × 2" strip of a website address, a square the size of a hand with one loud line on it. That's what people order from us, and it's why this page has no "standard size" — you enter the size, we cut the shape. We print custom bumper stickers at our shop in North York, Toronto on the same waterproof vinyl as our die cut stickers, with a gloss or matte laminate over the print, and they're good for up to 5 years on a clean bumper.

What you're getting

Printed white vinyl sealed under a laminate. The ink sits under the laminate, not on top, so rain, snow, sun and car washes work on the laminate and not on the print. Gloss makes colours brighter; matte has no glare, which matters on a surface that sits in direct sun all day. Both are the same vinyl and the same price. It goes on the bumper, and it goes just as well on the car body: a door, a tailgate, a rear window frame, anywhere the paint is factory and flat.

Size and shape

Most bumper stickers we make are 4" × 4" and bigger, and most of them are a different size from the last one. 8" × 2" is a popular strip for a name and a website. The presets on this page (2", 3", 4") are the starting points; for a bumper, choose Custom Size and type in the width and height you want. Cut to the artwork's outline (a die cut), rounded corners, oval/round, or rectangle/square. If you want the old rectangle, order it — but you'll be the first in a while.

Price

Price follows area and quantity, so an 8" × 2" costs the same as a 4" × 4". The calculator prices your exact size before you upload a file. Live prices as of September 30, 2026, before tax:

Four designs, one order

Upload up to 4 artwork files in a single order and split the quantity between them any way you like. Mixed sizes are fine; the order is priced at the largest size in the batch. A campaign that needs two slogans, a logo strip and a small window sticker gets one order at one price tier instead of four.

Putting it on, and taking it off

Clean the bumper and let it dry. That's most of the job: the 5-year rating assumes the sticker went onto a clean surface, and a sticker pressed over road film is a sticker that lifts at the corners. Peel from one edge and press it on from that edge outward with a card so you don't trap air. When you're done with it, peel from a corner — it comes off clean from a factory-painted body with no rust. Paint that's already flaking, rusted or resprayed badly is the exception: the sticker will hold the paint better than the paint holds the car.

The mistake we see most

Too much information packed into the space, or lettering too small. A bumper sticker is read by the driver behind you, from a car length away, in the few seconds before the light changes. That's room for one message. A logo and a website address, or a slogan and nothing else. If you send us a bumper sticker with three lines of text and a phone number, we'll say so at proofing and resize it at no charge.

Who orders them

Everybody who wants to make a statement. Businesses putting the name and website on their own vehicles and their customers' cars. Product launches. Political views, in every direction. Bands, clubs, causes, and people who just have something to say and want it on the back of the car. If it fits in one line and you want the road to read it, it's a bumper sticker.

Ordering

Upload a PNG, PDF, AI, EPS, SVG or PSD — vector files are best for logos and text, and text is what a bumper sticker is. Enter your size, quantity, cut and finish, and check out. You get a digital proof, usually within 24 hours, showing the exact cut line; if something's off, we revise it at no charge. Approve it and production takes 1–3 business days, then the stickers ship or are ready for pickup.

Are bumper stickers waterproof? Yes. Vinyl under a laminate: rain, snow, car washes. Rated for up to 5 years on a clean bumper.

Will it come off? Yes, cleanly, from a factory-painted surface with no rust. Peel from a corner.

Can I put it on the car body instead of the bumper? Yes. Same rule: clean, flat, factory paint.

What's the standard bumper sticker size? There isn't one any more. Most of ours are 4" × 4" and up; 8" × 2" is a popular strip. Enter any size.

Gloss or matte? Both work. Gloss for brighter colour, matte for no glare in sun. Same vinyl, same price.
